Learn how to engage your students in the design and creation of multi-modal picture books, games and graphics. Using both low and high tech tools, students will design, fabricate, and test learning materials that incorporate tactile and audio features. These inclusive 'Better Books' will be used by learners with visual impairments and other special needs in TCSD. Through the project, students will develop empathy for others, use technology for a purpose, and learn about STEM careers as they "Build Better Books" to benefit TCSD students!
